You never make a card. Anki and Quizlet are card managers: you build decks, then study them. In Miji the dictionary is the front door — look a word up, tap Remember, done. The scheduling is the same science Anki uses (FSRS); the work of making and organizing cards is gone.

Yes. Tap Remember on any word and Miji creates two cards on its own: one that asks what the word means, and one that asks for the word from its meaning. Nothing to type.

Yes. The notification is the flashcard. It shows the word, and you tap Knew or Forgot right there on the lock screen. Press and hold to see the whole card first.

Dictionary search and practice work offline, without a Miji account. Purchases use Apple and need a connection for buying or restoring. Daily Flashcards and rewarded ads use an online reward service. Vocabulary and individual practice answers are not sent there. If you opt in, usage reports can include bucketed activity counts, without the words or answers. FSRS-6, the open-source algorithm behind modern Anki. It estimates how well you remember each word and uses your answers to schedule the next practice.

It becomes due again within 30 minutes, and you get the same credit as if you had known it. Forgetting is part of learning; Miji never punishes it.

For now, yes: 78,000 English words from Wiktionary and Open English WordNet, with 650,000+ more in a free download. Private iCloud backup preserves your library and progress when enabled and completed. Other languages and Siri are not in yet.

Each word counts once across its saved meanings and decks. Dictionary searches are unlimited. Reaching your saving limit never stops you studying or exporting the words you already have. Existing decks remain usable after Pro ends.

Where rewarded ads are available, you can choose to watch an ad for 10 permanent Flashcards, up to 5 times per rolling 24 hours. Ads are optional and never interrupt a review. No Miji signup is needed. Ad availability and consent may affect whether an offer can be shown. Vocabulary is never sent to Miji’s reward service or Google. Automatic private iCloud backup preserves daily grants, all earned Flashcards and learning progress after the latest backup completes.

With automatic iCloud backup enabled, a completed backup preserves your words, decks, level, learning progress, original practice schedules and permanent earned Flashcard capacity. Use the same iCloud account and check Settings → Your library for the last successful backup before deleting the app. Pending changes, disabled backup or unavailable iCloud cannot guarantee recovery. Pro purchases are checked separately through Apple; use the same purchasing Apple account or Restore purchases.

When available, eligible subscribers can choose a 7-day free trial of monthly Pro. The monthly subscription automatically renews at the price shown in the app after the trial unless you cancel through Apple. Trial eligibility and the offer shown by Apple decide whether you qualify. Lifetime is a one-time purchase including all future Pro features; it has no trial or recurring charge.

New reward-account signup is retired. Settings → Privacy → Account & privacy retains deletion for previous accounts, including after sign-out under Previous reward accounts. Apple proof locates only an existing account; it never signs you up. Deletion removes its associated reward records and this phone's online Flashcard data, then online Flashcards stay off until explicitly enabled. Local words, earned Flashcards, private iCloud backup and Pro purchases remain. Deletion does not cancel subscriptions. The Privacy Policy explains shared records and retained security/revocation data.

Yes. Open Settings → Privacy → Account & privacy and choose Delete online Flashcard data. No Apple sign-in is needed. Deletion removes this phone’s online daily and ad records, including their backup, while keeping local words, earned Flashcards, the offline gift and Pro purchases. A pending deletion pauses new claims and rewards; after confirmation they stay off until you choose Enable online Flashcards. A minimal security receipt remains indefinitely to prevent old credentials from recreating deleted records; it contains no reward activity or Apple identity. Any previous Miji reward account can still be deleted separately. The Privacy Policy explains retained security data and backup limits.
